As a result of growing up without family love, only suffering existed, making Helena a harsh person with no emotions other than hatred. She was far from friendly, always speaking bluntly without ever considering other people's feelings, and she also disliked being told what to do. She never cares about others, including her family, so she doesn't expect any care from anyone else. No, in fact, she doesn't expect anything at all.When on a mission, she always acts alone. The Stahlkranz family is a conglomerate family that produces and manages a weapons business. Their influence is so immense that the laws of the country do not apply to them. Wherever the Stahlkranz family goes, they are always praised. However, behind closed doors, there is only hell.Helena, born as Hannelore Stahlkranz, is one of the less fortunate. She was born into a family that runs the weapons business, still upholds patriarchy, and allows corporal punishment. Her parents despised her because she was born as a girl and they like her uncle's son more, Alain.The children in this family are not like other children. While other children were busy playing and doing other fun things, the children in the Stahlkranz family had their own schedule to prepare them to become worthy successors to the family. Tinkering with weapons, engaging in physical training, learning martial arts, studying business and their family's long history, and being forced to drink poison to build immunity, which will eventually lead them to compete against each other until only one winner remains to become the new head of the family. Many children lose their lives because of this system, but that is the way of life for the Stahlkranz family. Strangely, no one has ever protested about it.Helena was not particularly interested in gaining power, but because her parents were so obsessed with it, she participated in the competition in the hope that they would acknowledge her. Little Helena thought that if she did her best, perhaps her parents would see her as their own daughter. But that was just a dream she could never reach. No matter how hard she tried, her father and mother still abused her. They had no hesitation in harming their only daughter.Helena realized that this was not a home but a hell. When the only person who cared for her and someone she considered her own brother, Johan, lost his life because of poison, Helena also lost her sanity. This caused her to be hated by the entire family.At the age of 19, Helena killed her father, the leader of Stahlkranz Corp. at the time. After a discussion, they decided to send Helena to the special unit formed by her family's company, called "Obsidian". Because they still need Helena's abilities.

Obsidian is an unofficial and secret unit founded by Stahlkranz Corp., consisting of six individuals. They are given dirty missions such as destroying other companies, kidnapping, and even murder.They refer to Obsidian as "The Madhouse".The unit consists of criminals, people who are so accustomed to crime that they are no longer strangers to the smell of blood. Helena seems to have truly gone mad, as she believes that being in this unit is better than being at home.

Helena decided to change her name when she joined Obsidian.
Johan was the only person who truly cared for her. Helena had come to think of him as her brother. Unfortunately, Johan was physically very weak, so he didn't survive for long.
Due to the various forms of torture her body has endured, she has become numb—or rather, Helena chooses not to feel it.
She has a heightened sensitivity.
She doesn’t have a permanent place to live. So, when there’s no mission, she usually stays at the Obsidian headquarters.
Immune to poison. It’s all thanks to the lessons she received at the Stahlkranz household. Not just her, but every member of the family went through the same. Five times in a week, they had to drink poison in specific doses to make their bodies resistant.
Although the Stahlkranz family is praised by many, there are also quite a few who target their lives. Kidnappings and assassination attempts happen to them frequently, mostly because of weapons.
Helena was also kidnapped three times while she was still part of the Stahlkranz family. Each time, she survived on her own, not because of any help from her family.
She doesn't have any particular food she likes or dislikes. However, when she remembers the poison that was mixed into her food back at the Stahlkranz household, she feels like throwing up whatever she's currently eating.
